The Hay Group’s new “Top Executive Compensation Report 2011-2012” showed that the average CEO salary in India has gone up 30% to more than INR2 crore (US$408,700) per year.

Wealth and Power Lists

CEO Middle East released its 2012 list of the 100 Most Powerful Arab Women.

Forbes Turkey released its annual list of that country’s wealthiest individuals. Access to the magazine requires a subscription, but you can learn about the top 10 individuals through a profile in the English-language edition of Hürriyet. The FT‘s beyondbrics blog and Bloomberg also provided coverage of the list’s publication in English. You can find more about the list by searching for its Turkish title, “En Zengin 100 Türk.”

London is eating New York’s lunch, ” according to Planet Money’s Adam Davidson, writing for the New York Times Magazine recently.   His column focused on London’s current position ahead of New York City as a world financial hub and how other global cities may take over that position this decade.
